CHA Winter 2014 Projects

I am so honored to have projects in both the Graphic 45 and Bo Bunny booths this year! As you all know, these two companies are two of my absolute favorites….my “go to’s” for projects.

At the Graphic 45 booth I have two new projects as well as the Maple Street Couture Dress Shoppe:

From G45 Botanical Tea is the next in the Maple Street series – The Tea Shoppe. I already had a tea shoppe planned before I even knew about this paper. I swear Diane gets inside my head some times!! It is THE perfect paper for the sweet little shop!

Next up is a Vintage Television….you know, from the days before remotes and flat screens! When I saw th G45 Good Sport paper, I tried to come up with something that most sports have in common and I came up with:  They are televised! The open screen displays the cover of a mini album (the back of the television removes to remove the mini). We will be doing this one closer to Father’s Day for all those arm charm sports enthusiasts out there.

Over at the Bo Bunny booth is the Winter Fairy House from the Woodland Winter collection. I was creating this one while much of the US was in a deep freeze so I had plenty of inspiration. I am excited to show you some fun techniques when we do this one on Ustream in February.

At noon on Thursday, I received my retailers pack of the new papers from Bo Bunny (I get this every release….so cool!) I had already planned the Happy Tails paper for the Maple Street Pet Shoppe so when I had it in hand, I couldn’t help myself….I had to dive in and get it made to bring as a surprise for the Bo Bunny people. It is so fun to see Maple Street growing!!!!!

Have an AWESOME weekend!

Laura

Comment didn’t publish so will repeat…
Are you kidding me! There are no words in the English language to describe your artistic talent much less the expertise it takes to transform your vision into artitechtural models. Amazing!!

  4. Oh my gosh, these projects rock!! I can’t wait to get started on the Winter Fairy House and the vintage TV is awesome, even though I’m not a sports fan I may still give it a go lol. Keep the CHA pics coming and enjoy your time with Joy. Big hugs, Dawn aka Bubbamumma xx

  5. I love them all! I wasn’t sure I’d be excited about a sports themed paper, but that Vintage TV rocks. The continuation of Maple Street is awesome. Can’t wait to jump in with these!
    Have fun at CHA!

  6. Hello Laura. I couldn’t wait until I retired so I could do more of your projects. However, I miscalculated your tremendous talent and profusion of ideas and my own slowness of crafting! I’m so terribly behind and there are so many more lovely albums just waiting! I really love the new series you’ve started; the Maple Street line is just darling. I will do some of the fairy houses for my grand nieces who will just LOVE them! The will go nicely with the Hallmark fairies I give them. Thanks for your tremendous talent and all you do to share it with us.

  7. Over the top cute!!!!! Knew I was going to love this Maple Street Shoppe series, but this is way beyond any expectations I could have imagined Laura. And your TV – so adorable!!!!! Hope you two are having a great time at CHA.
    Hugs,
Marcie (Give Joy a big hug from me also)

  8. Laura yours was the first blog post I checked out this morning because I couldn’t wait to see the fairy house! So glad I reserved a kit. All the projects are awesome but my heart belongs to the fairy houses. Hope you and Joy have a great time. thanks as always for sharing. Theresa aka Mountain Dreamer

  9. Maple Street is growing in an absolutely awesome fashion. Perhaps, Disney should take a look at it. Thank you for sharing the pics and keeping us inspired. Have a wonderful day.

  10. I know you get lots of comments and that mine is just another one, but I still have to say how thoroughly impressed I am with your workmanship and detail. These shops are nothing short of spectacular…
I am also pleased to have joined your Ustream classes lately and enjoy not only your creativity, but also the company of all the other folk that join you. What fun, what creative and smart followers you have. Thank you. Julie
