One of my top 5 products from CHA was Marion Smith’s Color Lab pigments to create your own custom sprays, paints, mediums, etc. I chatted with Marion earlier today and the Starter sets, extra bottles and new pigments will be in the shop by the end of the week. I have put up the Starter sets and spray bottles already. By Monday, I will have the pigments up….as soon as I figure out how to do the drop down menu….there are 20 new colors. In addition to the individual colors pots, I will be putting together some sets that will have a cost savings included in the pricing. All times should be able to ship together so any shipping overages will be refunded as usual. Those will be up on Monday as well.

This will be one of the products we will play with during What’s Up Wednesday. I will also be revisiting mixing colors for paper crafters…my very first Ustream show was on that subject. During my college days (my bachelors degree is in Interior Architecture) I had an quarter long class where we received a paint chip at the start of class and we had to mix that color with only Magenta, Cyan, Yellow, black, and white – the colors of printing. I will pass along the principles of mixing color without creating mud…unless you want a mud color!
