I started doing the New Years Scrap Bash in 2010 when my kids were 10 and 12. We have done this show each year since, welcoming in the New Year across the time zones. This year, both of my kids asked if we could do something together as a family on New Years Eve. This may be the last year my son will be home on New Years. In 2016, he will turn 18…omg, I am not ready for that! He hopes to be playing Junior hockey somewhere next season and may be headed back to that by New Years next year. Those of you with grown kids know how much more time it takes from your own life with teenagers than at any other time in their lives….and it goes by even more quickly than when they were babies! So, I have decided to do my show on New Years Day instead for this year only. Next year will be decided next year.
There will still be prizes and it will still be an extended length show, nearly everything will be the same except the time. We have had a blast in the bast and will do so again!
We will be making a mini album during the show, Time Revisited II, I got word yesterday that the of the papers for the project are stuck in Texas because of weather and won’t arrive till Jan 5. Grrrr. I have put together a second option from papers I have on hand to do on the show. The original kits will ship as soon as the papers arrive and I will have a limited number of the second option available. i will have the pattern available by the show on New Years Day.

Laura- The email field is saying not visible. I can’t put in my email. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I tried in Chrome and FireFox.
Nevermind Laura. I clicked on the having trouble and it took me to a different screen. All is good now.
To understand correctly, I ordered a kit for the bash. If I want to have a kit to work on, I should order the replacement kit? I usually just watch you create.
I ALWAYS recommend that you just watch any live show. The videos are available for free for you to watch at your convenience. We have NEVER finished a project in just one show, so additional shows or videos will be available after the first, most likely after CHA (Jan 7-12). You will be fine with the original kit but can switch to the replacement if you prefer it. I will have it up by tomorrow, shipping on Wednesday.

Vicky- I had the same thing happen. If you look below the email field you see something that says trouble linking up try here. Click on try here and it’ll take you to another screen and you’ll be able to put your name and email address in. HTH

I am so happy you changed this years program to New Year’s Day. Our city is starting a new thing with Raise the star over one of the building in downtown and we are planning on being part of history. Lol
