Here is my project….an iPad Case! This case will not only protect your iPad (or other tablet) but will also stand up with the built in stand for ease of reading. I will be teaching this project on my regularly scheduled Ustream class on Friday, December 7, at 7pm PST (Click on the ustream logo to the right to go directly to my Ustream Channel. See the Ustream schedule above under the Class Schedule tab.) Class is FREE so come join us! I WILL be showing how to modify this to hold your Nook/Kindle or other tablet. You will also get to see the surprising way the tablet comes out of the case….it is not what it seems…..

Love the idea of using the door handles on the iPad Case. Maybe I could use something similar, but smaller, to hold my Kindle rather than using strips of leather? That’s got me thinking, inspiring ideas, thanks Laura.

I, personally don’t have an ipad as yet but know of many friends who do so this would make a very practical gift that can be personalized to suit the recipient…love it!
