I got home from CHA on a 6am flight yesterday morning. It was so sad to leave the show early, but family must come first. I was so grateful to get to go for even just a couple of days. Jamb packed those two days as best we could. I will post more about upcoming projects and directions in a few days….got to get through the days first. Thank you all for you love an support.
I want to post a few of our favorite goodies from the show….
CHA always delivers A LOT of tools to choose from…some are great must haves, some not so much. We always look at the tools we can use in upcoming projects and beyond. Here are my top six TOOL picks for this CHA (in no particular order):
We R Memory Keepers Photo Sleeve Fuse
This one has my mind in overtime with ideas beyond the pocket. I ordered a bunch for the shop that will be shipping to me in April. There will be an international plug version coming out sometime in April (per Tavren, head of product development at WRMK). Get on my list to get one cuz these are going to be like the envelope punch board, second shipment from WRMK will be several months after the initial release. I ordered a bunch, but they will go fast. (email me at laura@lauradenisondesigns.com to get on the list)
Big Shot Plus
Bigger than the Big Shot but smaller than the Big Shot Pro. It can use up to 8 1/2″ x 11″ papers. I think it is a PERFECT sized want one yesterday. Shipping in May.
Tool It All
This is similar to the Spellbinders tool but has more attachments and is made out of metal. It has a brayer attachment, stylus attachments, and can even hold a standard craft knife blade!
I have this one on order as well. Email me as above to get on the list. Shipping to me in April.
Tim’s Sizzix Punches
As I predicted a while back, Tim has punches out. The look like they are very cool. They have a rubberized push edge that looks great. Anxious to use one. Not sure when available, my guess would be several months cuz that is how things are with Sizzix.
Marion Smith Color Lab
Make sprays in virtually any color you want. This is kind of like being your own lab…mix the color you want. I have a sample to play with/demo and we will use this as one of the first NEW What’s Up Wednesday projects. I have order these for the shop as well. They will be shipping to me soon.
Mystery Product
I have a sample of this one to show you rather than tell you. It is on order for the shop and will be shipping to me right after the show. This one had me SUPER excited!
As I noted, I will have more highlights and upcoming projects and events posting in the coming days.
Laura

BIG HUG
Hi Laura,
I am so happy that you were able to get away for a few days. You are always thinking out of the box with all the new products. It will be fun to see what you brain comes up with.
I still say I would like to be in there for even just 5 minutes. I know you tell me I wouldn’t want to be in there but….I am willing to risk it. lol
You and your family continue to be in my prayers. Healing takes time. Be good to yourselves.
Hugs and blessings,
cheryl
I can’t wait to see the Marion Smith color lab.
Laura, I know you had mixed emotions about CHA this year with all you have been going through and I know it was hard to be away from family at this point. I just hope that you were able to actually enjoy yourself a little bit. I think it was a needed trip to take your mind off all that has happened even for just a few hours. We all need some R&R periodically to sort of regroup. Take care. Thanks for covering some of the important highlights of this years show. Looks like we are in for some really great new products. My granddaughter will be in surgery tomorrow so I am not sure if I will get to attend Friday’s show. Things have been really complicated here and I may be MIA for a week or so. I will try not to miss any new kits coming up. Hugs and prayers.

Laura, I’m brand new today. But was so very sorry about your family. One day at a time is all you can do. Thank you for sharing with us. Take care and be well.
Hi Laura,
Thank’s for the great CHA video’s. It was great to watch. I really love the fuse and unfortunally I have the spellbinders tool. The zutter one looks more professional and I love the different tool inserts.
Thank You Laura for doing a video of the CHA showroom floor with Joy and Leilani. I clicked my heels and felt like I was there with you. I loved the new Graphic 45 paper line coming out and some new tools plus the new Big Shot.
Joy I saw a peak of you–you are so cute.
Hi Laura, I hope life is settling down for you. Are we playing guess the mystery item? I am going with the Minc.
God bless you and your family.
Changing my guess to the “Fold Ease”. It would have been much easier for you to cart home! But the Minc does look like fun!
Hi Laura,
Thank you so much for taking the time to take us on a tour of CHA. It was awesome as usual.
I can’t wait to try the product picks you have.
Kat..
