We woke up this morning to a blanket of snow here in the Pacific Northwest. We don’t get a lot of snow here so, of course, it causes havoc on the roads. Schools are closed and the news coverage is unending regard the snow. Suppose to rain by afternoon (turning the snow into a sloppy mess) but it creates excitement in the region.
If you missed my Ustream on Wednesday or you haven’t checked the schedule here on my blog, I postponed the Maple Street Dress Shoppe project to next Friday. Due to the overwhelming response, I added kits. In order to get those kits out to people, it just made sense to delay. All of the first batch kits will be out this week and the next batch is shipping next week. I am sooo glad you all like this first in the new series as much as I do. The pattern should be up by Saturday.
Moving the Dress Shoppe to next Friday opens up tonight. We will be making a quick recipe box. I will post a photo and supplies need in a couple of hours here on the blog. There won’t be a tutorial, just the video and supplies listed here on the blog. Basically, you will need some chipboard and patterned paper….maybe an embellishment or two.
Back to work…kids are home for an extra day of winter break…always makes it more challenging to get work done….
