A couple of weeks ago I received an email from a gentleman named Michael Tortorello. He is a writer with the New York Times.

What?

First step….checked him out.

Yep, he’s for real. He really does write for the New York Times. *insert my mouth dropping here*

He was doing an article on Fairy Houses and had come across my Enchanted Garden Series in his research. *insert squeal here*

After chatting via email, I sent off several of the patterns and photos. I am mentioned and my blog linked near the end of the article. My photos weren’t high resolution enough to be included, but…

My work was mentioned in the NEW YORK TIMES!!! I am so freaking excited I could flip!

Here is the link to check it out: http://www.nytimes.com/2014/10/02/garden/leave-your-wings-at-the-door.html

For those who may be visiting my website, here are photos of some of my Fairy Houses….the wee ones have given me permission to show them off!
