Gate Hinged Box Sneak Peak!

Here’s a sneak peak of the Gate Hinged Box project. This box holds six “6 Pack” mini albums. It also is sized to fit the pouches for the Sizzix thin dies. There are two box options that will included in the pattern, the horizontal version shown here and a vertical version…the vertical version is the same dimensions only oriented vertically.

The kits for this project will go up on my website at 7 pm PDT tonight. there are 3 versions:  Tim Holtz French Industrial (shown), Prima Journal Pad, and Simple Stores Snap Life. I am making a limited number of kits, when they are gone they will be gone. The kits are schedule to ship out in time for the Ustream class that begins on Friday, June 7. The pattern should be available late next week.

I am loving the versatility of this project! The “Six Pack” albums are perfect for those events that you want to record that you don’t need a lot of photos for. They are more than a card but not as involved as a full mini album. They make a perfect small gift as well. The box can also be a great Recipe Box.

P.S. Weekdays, weekends, holidays all seem the same to me these days…as a result I kind of forget those Monday holidays! The Captured Under Glass class video will post on Wednesday instead of Monday due to the holiday and it’s effect on shipping times and posting the pattern. I PROMISE this will be the LAST revision in start date for this project!! LOL!!

I love the idea of small albums to give as gifts. I’m always wishing I had something like that. And am just too busy with projects to make them. And the box is wonderful! Will there be a printed pattern too?

    Love!!

    1. There will be a pattern available. Whenever I mention a pattern in relation to a project, it is ALWAYS available for the kits as well as a pattern that can be purchased without the kit.

  2. WOUW this looks absolutely gorgeous Laura, and I just LOVE it. Boy I wish, I lived, so my tie would fit a lot better with yours, as I´m really not good to stay awake this late anymore, so I can join your classes, but I really wish I could. This is sooo gorgeous hun, and I think, I´ll have to go and spend a little here again LOL.

  3. Oh Laura, that looks amazing, and as always – fantastic choices of paper. I totally love following you and even tho time diff with me in Ireland I love to watch after – also loving your youtube videos. You are so talented and it is really appreciated. thanks.

  4. LOVE this project, Laura!! Hope to return to classes soon! It is “interesting” living in the RV and depending on their wifi, which is not the best! But I am making it. Missing my crafty friends and your wonderfully inspired classes!!

Big hugs to you, Sarah and Trevor!
