Here is a sneak peek of the new In Suspense Mini Album. It still needs some embellishments but you can get the gist of it from these photos.
The mini album suspends from the top of the shrine-like frame. The finished project is approximately 10″ x 14″ x 6″. The mini album itself is 5 1/2″ x 8″. More to come in a few days regarding the mini album and the finished exterior. There will be two kit versions. The one shown used Papermania Madame Payraud. The second version uses Kaisercraft Telegraph Road. Kits will be available in the shop at 2pm PDT today. The pattern will be available about a week before the scheduled Ustream class. It will be available as a pattern only as well as included in the kits.
Here is a video of how it works:

Interesting design & Loving that paper!
Boy did you make it hard to choose!
As ALWAYS, just gorgeous!
another awesome creation!
Love it!
Very interesting and different. Very cool.
Love the new approach to display. Also like very much that you are doing videos showing more of the project than just photo graphs would show us. thanks as always for sharing. Theresa aka Mountain Dreamer
I like the video appoarch on the blog showing the project. Sometimes it is very hard to find it on the pre-show. This way you can see it without having to go through the video if you were not able to attend the show live. Thanks Laura for always coming up with ways to make it easier for us. Linda
I like the video, I understand how it wouldn’t show correctly in the pictures. I can see this project as a holloween version and also a school version with the shelves on the sides! Love it!
Would love to see this in Graphic 45’s Birdsong…
i am so excited about this project! this is just my style! can’t wait!
you’re a genius, laura. to figure out all the mechanics & all the creative stuff. genius!
I love the project and the videos, i did have proplem with black think comes and goes you can see, but the new project is different and cool i can wet too see how you make it thanks again.
Just watched the video, I can image this project in aray of collections, which would give it a different exspect of designes. Looking forward to making this wonderful project, Thanks for coming up with another amazing and exciting project !
I love love this project and I especially like that you did a quick video that was easily accessible!! For all the clock fanatics like my daughter, I can totally see a clock on the mini inside. The other idea that popped up was the Tower of Terror at Disneyworld with a photo of everyone on the ride on the front of the mini coming down the tower (or any ride for that matter). With the right paper this could be used so many ways. WTG Laura!! Score!!!
P.S. Loving the new blog!!! Kudos to the webmaster!!!!
P.S.S. When I watched the video, I was reminded of an elevator coming down. (If you are looking for a better visual than the guillotine…..haha)
i like it! fun .
