…over the past few weeks on my Ustream shows, I have let you all know that I needed to keep my schedule flexible. I have reached that time I referenced and need to move the Ustream schedule around to accommodate a family situation. Class will be held today (Wednesday) at the normal time – 1 pm PDT. I will, however, be canceling both Friday’s and Saturday’s classes. As many of my long time followers know, I don’t miss my Friday night classes very often, so I don’t make this decision lightly. I am not eliminating anything I would be teaching during these classes, merely shuffling things around a bit. You can see my revised schedule here.
I am also making a change to the format of the upcoming Color Block Album. I will be doing this class as a straight to video class instead as a live class as I had originally planned. It will have the same number of classes, same format, and and the same information…..and probably easier to follow via the video without my meandering with the live audience! The videos will post each Wednesday here on my blog only (not on Ustream or Youtube) on the same schedule as the Ustream class was to take place. Doing the class this way will allow me the flexibility to film the class outside of the Ustream schedule. This will give me a month or so off from the WEDNESDAY Ustream schedule… Friday and Saturday classes will remain as scheduled. The Color Block Class will still begin on May 22nd as scheduled (revised to June 1) and the kits and pattern will still be available prior to the class beginning. I must offer those of you who ordered one of the Color Block kits the opportunity to receive a refund if you choose, as the format change is a change to what I represented the class to be. As I noted, everything for the class will be as planned it is merely the format that is changing. Contact me privately prior to kit shipment if you want to make changes to your order.
The Captured Under Glass class will still take place as a live and recorded class on Ustream per the schedule. The beginning of the class has been delayed with this schedule change. The pattern will be available and the kits will be shipping out next week as scheduled. Again, if this delay causes you to change your mind regarding the kit you have purchased, please contact me privately and we will get it worked out for you.
Patterns and shipment of all other current and future kits should remain on schedule and I will continue to try and keep up with the daily emails, so don’t hesitate to contact me if you need anything from me. I am not going anywhere, just easing up the schedule a bit.
Thank you all for your support and understanding while I move forward with this difficult family situation. One of the primary reasons I love what I do is it gives me the opportunity to make myself available to my husband and children when they need me. As many of you have told me multiple times….Family comes first….but I also NEED to keep up with my commitments and promises to all of you. With a bit of flexing of the schedule, all of it can happen and I thank you all for allowing me to do just that.
Hugs to you all!
Laura
Dear Laura, youare so kind and wonderful. I love watching your shows and do so over and over again.
Of course family comes first!! My thoughts and prayers go out to you during this difficult time. I can’t tell you how caring this group is, I lost my Dad 10 days ago and all the gals and pink elf have been so supportive. Very nice paper doodles.
If there is anything Ican do to help youlet me know.
many warm hugs, nancy
Dear Laura,
You are truly a kind and thoughtful lady. Thank goodness for the hi tech world that we all can communicate all over the world. I enjoy your videos live or recorded. Whatever makes it easier for you. Family does come first and I understand. You have an awesome blog followers and the nicest crafters around. I can say for myself that I can always get caught up on one of your projects with schedule changes. I really appreciate you and you sharing your creativity with us all. Please excuse my typos I can’t seem to go back and correct my grammar. Hugs from Maine.
You do so much for us, you need to do for you now.
My heart goes out to you and my hopes for a good resolution to your situation. May all end well.
Laura~I’m sending hugs, positive energies, and prayers to you and your family for a good resolution. I truly appreciate your sharing your creativity and putting on such fun shows! You and your show got me through my 7 months of back surgery recovery! There was a LOT of sitting around. I’ll be quite happy to visit with you via your videos, and any ustreams and youtubes life allows. Take care. DoriG

Lots of warm thoughts to you and your family. Hope you can concentrate on your family and give them all your attention. Of cause the changes is allright as you allways let us know in advance.
Best of luck to you all in the Denison household.
Laura, family always comes first. That’s the primary reason I’ve been absent for so many months, taking care of family members. I hope and pray things go well for all of you.
I would SOOO much rather you changes classes around than stop altogether creating with and for us. I still can’t wait to watch the Color Block project videos, love it! It probably WILL be shorter without all the chatting!
And guess what? I’m making another couple of One and Done minis! Surprise, right? 🙂 Would love a status update on when we can expect to access older videos. Thanks!
Family does come first. Take the time
Needed to resolve your personal
Matters. Having a very demanding
Schedule and family, I am a fan of your
recordings So it is perfect for me.
Good Luck and I hope all goes well
like so many others just happy for you to keep going, we will be here and always delighted to be able to share and learn with you. wishing you all the very best.
Laura, I’m proud of you for the changes you’ve made. If you get too stretched out you won’t be able to help your family or create with us. You’re doing such an excellent job at all your roles. Remember, as overwhelming as the days are right now, the time will come that they settle back down. One of the most important and difficult lessons that I continue to try and learn each day is to accept my daughter for who she is and to let go of who I thought and dreamed she would be when she was born.
Take it day by day, Laura, and you’ll find the strength you need. Without question, you have all our support. As paper crafting, and a daily solo trip to Starbucks has always been my ‘stay sane’ time, I think what we can best do is provide a safe haven for you during your U streams.
My prayers are with you.
Hugs

Keep the wind in your back
The sun in your face

The spirit in your heart.

not dealt anything we cannot handle, it just makes us stronger. Marie
Laura,
My Heart is saddened to know that one of “us” has any kind of problem. That’s because through you we have all become family. Do what you need to help your loved ones and take care of your self in the process. If there is anything we could do to help you in any way shape or form, Please don’t hesitate to ask.
Keep your chin up,
Best Regards, Pam Davis
Thank you for finding a way that helps YOU with your FAMILY and also one that enables us to enjoy your BRILLIANT talent. Prayers are with you.
Thanks for keeping us updated. I am sorry that this is a difficult time for you and your family. Hiving been through a difficult family situation myself I completely understand. You memtioned that the crafting you do is good therapy and I totally agree. My thoughts and prayers are going out to you and your family. I only wish the best for each of you. Thank you for all you do to inspire the crafter in all of us.
Laura,
May God bless you and those that you love most…your family. My family will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers! Tonya (tlmarion)
No worries Laura. I missed your Ustream today. Why?….. I had to take care of my mom. You are absolutely right FAMILY always comes first! So my little truck sits in my strap room ¼ done and my first truck still sits in a box. Where can I go to get more than 24 hours in a day? Sigh. Thanks for keeping everyone informed. You do so much for me personally. Paper crafting keeps me sane. Remember “Those that Matter will not Mind and those who do DO NOT Matter.” I am sure that you would rather have 20 loyal followers than 200 cranky people that complain about what is not done, lateness, or whatever. Some people are just negative and complain. I think the vast majority of us love and admire you. So hang in there. I’m praying for happiness, health and peace in your family. God Bless and see you later. I’ll keep checking the blog for updates. Angela
Forgive me, I am blog illiterate. It took me forever to find out how to do this much. I’m looking for the updated measurements you said you were going to post for the French Delivery Truck. I’m also brand new to your videos and am trying to decipher when you’ll be finishing up with the mini-book for the FDT.
Good luck to you with your family situation.
Help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!
They are posted under the tab heading “Patterns/Pattern Corrections and Revisions”
Thanks!!!
Laura, just wanted to send you and your family lots and lots of warm hugs, positive thoughts and the healing energy of love. Thank you for all the beauty you bring into our lives. It has kept me sane, smiling and hopeful. 🙂
