I have added a new tab here on the blog with the status of the outstanding Kits and Patterns. I have had this info on the Side Bar for several months but people don’t seem to see it, so I have moved it and I am updating it regularly.
As many of you know, I have a situation with one of my kids that is demanding a lot of my time. I really appreciate the “above and beyond” patience you have all shown me! I am working as hard as I can to get kets shipped and patterns up as well as continuing to prepare for future projects…..it’s a juggling act and I sometimes have nearly dropped a few balls.
The Captured Under Glass should be up tomorrow…yes, REALLY!! (UPDATE: okay…not really….electronic issues will prevent it from going up till Monday. Hating all things “video” right now!!) This project has really taken a beating in the schedule and I really apologize. The Color Block has also taken a hit in the schedule and it should be up on Monday (Update: this one will be late as well…it has been one of THOSE days…). We have to head to Portland again on Saturday. These long drives are doing a number on my back on top of everything else. This growing older is not for wimps!!!
As soon as these two projects and the Gate Hinged Box project is outa here I will be working on the next quarters birdhouses. I hope to have at least the first two to show on Wednesday’s show and on my blog before then. Kits will go up, I hope, on Monday. Product is already starting to arrive and I want to get them out earlier this quarter……the treadmill never stops!!! Wee haw!

This is a Great idea and addition to your Blog – Thanks for thinking of us (again) and doing it. We (I) so appreciate your creative inspiration and Thank You for managing all the spinning plates you have going at the moment. Family is the fabric of our existence so of course we’ll understand that you have important things to take care of there – just like us all. We’ll wait – YOU are THAT good! Don’t forget to take care of yourself when you can too!

Take care, and don’t worry about us! I keep ordering kits, and I am still making them about 4 -5 months behind. Family ALWAYS comes first. Just had my youngest daughter’s wedding in May; then found out I had to have a lumpectomy and just today my older daughter found out she has a growth on her thyroid!!! So we’ll be recuperating and starting some Laura’s kits while home on sick leave. Take care of your family!! We are a patient group and you are certainly worth waiting for! Best wishes!
Laura, You can always catch up on kits and change schedules. You can never go back into the past and give the time your child needs. I know from my daughter how incredibly much it has and does mean to her and I’m glad I don’t have regrets about not doing everything I could. Now, get a lumbar pillow and possibly a brace for your back. I’d guess some of it is pure stress.

Your family comes FIRST and FOREMOST! You are in my prayers every day. Your talents and skills are fabulous. I LOVE your kits and this will give me an opportunity to catch up. Your directions for the kits with pictures are over the top so easy to follow. The April and May birdhouses are gracing my dining room table and are stunning and so unique. Take care of your family first. None of us die hard paper crafting followers are going anywhere! ((((Hugs for your back)))

Laura, You have said that you love doing what you do, and we appreciate you for sharing your talents with all of us. Remember, you are sent these burdens because you are able to handle them! (That is why you haven’t actually dropped any of those juggling balls!) We are patient, my dear, and are on your schedule, whatever it needs to be.
