Happy Halloween!

Wishing everyone a happy and SAFE Halloween. We are having record rains so we will have a soggy night but fun for  the little ones regardless.

There have been enough tricks these past few days so I have some TREATS to announce! This is a long post with lots of info, so pull up a cup of coffee and a bowl of Halloween candy and get comfy!

First up….GIVEAWAYS! I have four giveaways in celebration of my new blog! Thank you all for your positive and kind response to my new blog. I am continuing my efforts to get everything up and running as quickly as possible. Still a bit of a work in progress…but it’s going to get there! The prize winners chosen randomly are:

1.  A wonderful pack of Graphic 45 goodies! (12 x 12 pad, die-cuts, stickers, and stamps) – Crafty Alowyn

2.  Another wonderful pack of Graphic 45 goodies! (12 x 12 pad, die-cuts, stickers, and stamps) – Debbie Eslinger

3.  A Serenade Lantern Kit  – Pam Davis

4. A Wardrobe Trunk Kit – Zandra Cudney

Please email me (ftptwithlaura@aol.com) with your shipping info so I can get these prizes out to you this week!

Speaking of the Trunk kits….The majority  will go up on

Thursday, November 1 at 7pm and

Friday, November 2 at 10am

I will be holding 25% of the kits until Monday, November 5 at 10 am to allow those without power on the east coast to have an opportunity to get one of the kits. So many have been waiting MONTHS for this project, I don’t want anyone to miss out.

Also, there will be THREE versions –

The original Idea-o-logy Destinations version

A Christmas Countdown version featuring Kaisercraft Twig and Berry.

A feminine Graphic 45 Ladies Diary version

I will also be offering all three versions with the Configuration boxes and without….in case you want to get or make your own boxes. (The pattern uses the Configuration boxes and will NOT be showing how to make your own boxes) Shipping for the International orders will be less without the boxes. These kits are chock full of goodies!

The original Wardrobe Trunk from January CHA of this year (in Tim Holtz Idea-o-logy booth) featured monthly tags  creating a perpetual calendar. (The pattern will have photo’s of the tags I created for the original project but not the instructions to create them). If you have been following/creating Tim’s monthly tags that he started in February, they will work for this project perfectly. I am also organizing a TAG SWAP. You will be able to sign up for a specific MONTH (or more) and do 12 identical tags for that month….keep one and sent the rest off to be exchanged. You will receive back the remaining months to complete the year. The number of swap months available will be limited, so sign up early to get the month you want. Sign up will begin on Monday November 5 and the tags need to reach me by December 10 so that I can get them out to everyone by the new year.

Next, PINK MINI’S 2012! This project took a beating this year. I dropped the ball on getting advertising out for this a few weeks back. No excuses…just need more hours in the day. I didn’t want this to slip through the cracks, so I extended the deadline to get your photo’s to me. Hurricane Sandy also had an effect. I have several people email me, before the storm took their power, that they weren’t going to get their photo’s to me in time. I then elected to go ahead and extend the deadline again. The NEW deadline to get photos to me is Novemeber 4. The AUCTION will take place from November 10 through November 15. Please see the Pink Mini’s 2012 blog for more info regarding photos, etc.

Last but not least, I need to delay Saturday’s class form the usual NOON PDT to 7pm PDT. Aimee from Graphic 45 will be in Seattle to celebrate the 16th Anniversary of the Scrapbook Nook (the local shop I teach at) and I will be helping her out.

Phew! That was a bunch of info…..thanks for hanging in there to the end!
